Understanding the fundraising process and how to grow your startup is difficult, and an ongoing learning process. This interactive Q&A event gives you the opportunity to ask those burning questions to a well-known VC, give your startup’s elevator pitch and potentially create a relationship with this VC firm.

OUR VC

Charles Hudson is the Managing Partner and Founder of Precursor Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in the first institutional round of investment for the most promising software and hardware companies.  Precursor Ventures has invested in many well-known startups such as Superhuman and The Athletic, just to name a few.  They are currently investing out of their $40 million third fund.

HOW THE EVENT WORKS

1. Purchase a ticket to receive log-in access to our events page.  On the events, page submit your questions before or during the event.
2.  Upvote all questions you want to have answered by our VC, as we crowdsource the best most upvoted questions from the audience.
3.  Authors of the questions will have the option to ask their questions, AND the opportunity to give their 60-second startup pitch to the VC, live during the event with video and audio. It’s a great way to build an investor relationship, as a warm follow-up email after the event is always better than a cold email later.
4. We select the most upvoted questions to ask our VC. The strategy to get your question asked and upvoted is to submit a question that is interesting and most relevant to the majority of all founders and entrepreneurs in attendance. So try not to ask a question too specific to your own circumstances.
5.  Make sure to schedule private 1-on-1 networking sessions with other attendees both before and after the event.  Search profiles of other attendees and request networking meetings virtually via video, all through our events platform.
