He also serves as VP of Product and Co-Founder of Listo, a financial services startup and is currently Co-President of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs.
He serves on the Board of Directors of StackStorm and has been Board Observer for Xseed companies including Lex Machina (acquired by LexisNexis), mines.io, AtScale (raised $9 Million), Dispatcher, Teapot, Pixlee, SIPX (acquired by ProQuest), Playnomics (acquired by Unity), Zooz (raised $16.5 Million), and BrainofT.
Alan was previously Director of Product Management at Bycast, an object storage software company with customers including some of the largest digital content repositories in the world. Bycast was acquired by NetApp, a company with 11,000+ employees and $5.1B+ in revenue.
Prior to Bycast, Alan served as an engineering manager at a network security start-up, and helped develop Creo, which was acquired by Kodak for $1B in cash.
