Pitch and network at our Pitch Night and Investor Panel Discussion with Curtis Feeny of Silicon Valley Data Capital and Ron Burns of Band of Angels.

Curtis is also the head of Silicon Valley Data Capital, who have just added $59 million to their venture capital fund last month, which they are actively investing out of.
Ron Burns is an investor at Band of Angels, Silicon Valley’s oldest seed funding organization. Band of Angels has seeded over 277 companies with 55 profitable M&A exits and 10 Nasdaq IPOs. The organization has founded companies such as Symantec, Logitech, and National Semiconductor and has senior executives at the likes of Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, and Intuit.

The event will start with a round-table discussion where our investors will talk about the fundraising process and what it takes to successfully raise funding. Pre-selected startups will pitch to the investor panel for 5 minutes with their slide deck, followed by feedback and Q&A from the investor panel.
Whether you are attending as an audience member or have been selected to pitch, all attendees can learn from these investors, their quality feedback and unique insights. Connect with these investors afterward during general networking, and create a relationship with them and their firms.

HOW TO APPLY TO PITCH
Apply using the link below for an opportunity to pitch your company to the investor panel. You must purchase a General Admission ticket to submit your pitch deck for consideration. All pitch deck submissions must be in a PDF format.
Selected companies will have 5 minutes to pitch their company, including slide deck, to the investor panel. Questions and feedback from the investor panel will follow for an additional 5 minutes. There are a limited amount of pitch slots available, so submit your pitch deck now for consideration.

In 2006, Curtis was also appointed by President George W. Bush to be a Trustee of the Presidio Trust, and from from 1992 to 2000 Curtis was the first Executive Vice President of the newly formed Stanford Management Company when assets under management grew from $1.5 billion to $9 billion. Curtis has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.
